I am a family physician in San Diego, and for the past number of years have been troubled by a severe case of tinnitus (ringing in the ears.) This has become so acute that I was forced to use prescription sleep medication every night. Additionally, my hearing has slowly been affected. I had tried a number of remedies, none of which proved effective. Luckily, I found HearWell Hearing Aid Center. After an extensive and extremely professional evaluation of my hearing, they provided me with a set of unique hearing aids. They not only improved my hearing, but more importantly they produce a form of soft “white noise” which serves to interfere with the ultra-sensitive nerve endings in the inner ear that produce the ringing (tinnitus), and for the first time in years I am able to get uninterrupted sleep every night!

Her personal care and attention to my special hearing needs was more than exceptional as she assisted me with the equipment to hear again. Highly recommend HearWell. The purpose for this visit would hopefully be the beginning of improving our dad’s hearing loss. His hearing loss was categorized as moderate to severe. But we were given hope for his reemergence into conversation and healthy socialization, both face-to-face and on the telephone, which has been a useless endeavor for over year. We were warmly greeted and did not spend a lot of time with forms. We were introduced to Ariella Khosh, H.I.S., who gave us a list, and recommended an ENT for preliminary cleaning before further testing and fitting. We went to his primary doctor to get a referral to the ENT we selected. He performed a thorough cleaning, I called HearWell back hopefully to continue where we left off earlier that day. It was late in the afternoon. They welcomed us back. Ariella Khosh had left for the day. We were seen by Debra Miller, H.I.S. Even though it was late in the day, she gladly put her scheduled plans on hold to greet us and make us comfortable. Ms. Miller was highly professional. Without rushing, she made certain my Dad was comfortable. She explained each level of testing. She walked us through the different types of hearing aids and made recommendations for a new hearing device, while his hearing aids were cleaned. The overall service was over-the-top. Ms. Miller even took one of my Dad’s devices and fixed it! If you’re even thinking about getting tested and fitted for a hearing aid, this is your first stop.
